Types of Documents
๐งพ Receipts
A receipt will be generated when a payment is made to your account using PayPal or a credit card for a 'Buy Now' purchase.
Receipts confirm payment has been received.
๐ Invoices
Invoices are issued when making a purchase of a product. They serve as official proof of purchase for accounting and tax purposes.
Contains detailed transaction information.
๐ Credit Notes
Issued when a transaction is reversed or refunded. Acknowledges the cancellation of the original invoice.
Used for refunds and returns.
Understanding Your Documents
Receipts
- Generated automatically upon successful payment
- Sent to your registered email address
- Available in your account under Statements
- Includes payment method and transaction ID
Invoices
- Official proof of purchase
- Includes your billing details and our business information
- Contains itemized list of products purchased
- Shows applicable taxes and fees
- Can be downloaded as PDF for your records
Credit Notes
When an invoice has been generated and the transaction is reversed, a credit note is issued to acknowledge the cancellation of the invoice.

Important Tax Notes:
- All invoices include applicable VAT/GST based on your billing country
- Tax rates are calculated automatically at checkout
- Business customers with valid VAT numbers may be eligible for tax exemptions in certain jurisdictions
- Keep all invoices for your tax records and accounting purposes
Accessing Your Documents
To view your statements and documents:
- Log in to your Jaffar Ali Tech account
- Hover over your username and select 'Profile' or 'Account'
- Click on the 'Statements' tab
- Use filters to find specific transactions:
- Date range
- Transaction type (Purchase, Refund, etc.)
- Document type (Receipt, Invoice, Credit Note)
- Click on any document to view or download as PDF

What About Past Transactions?
Recent Transactions
All transactions from January 1, 2020 onwards have full documentation available in the current format. You can access invoices, receipts, and credit notes through your statements page.
Older Transactions
Note: For transactions completed prior to January 1, 2020:
- Transaction history is still visible in your statement
- Some older documents may not be available in the current format
- Invoices will not be back-issued for orders before this date
- Contact support if you need documentation for older transactions
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a duplicate invoice?
Yes, you can download your invoice multiple times from your Statements page. The downloaded PDF will be identical to the original. If you need a modified invoice (e.g., with updated billing details), please contact support within 30 days of purchase.
My invoice has the wrong billing address. Can you fix it?
We can update billing details and reissue an invoice if you contact us within 30 days of the original purchase. After 30 days, we cannot modify historical invoices for accounting integrity reasons. Please ensure your billing details are correct before making purchases.
What's the difference between a receipt and an invoice?
A receipt confirms that payment has been received and processed. An invoice is a formal request for payment (or proof of completed payment) that includes detailed business information for accounting purposes. Invoices are typically used for tax reporting and business expense claims.
Do you provide monthly statements?
We don't automatically send monthly statements, but you can generate your own statement for any date range from your account. Simply go to Statements, set your desired date range (e.g., last 30 days, specific month), and view or export your transactions.
